WHO ARE WE?
We’re the Neighbourhood Kitchen! We’re 4 local families in Milton who started off this effort in November 2020.
WHAT WE DO?
This is an effort where the whole family (mom, dad & kids) come together to prepare a home cooked meal for a local Milton Muslim family in need.
WHY?
There are many families in our community who are going through hardships alone. Especially in this covid-19 era, circumstances have become difficult. Our goal is to bring joy and ease to a family in making something a bit easier for them. We have been able to support families who are struggling due to unemployment, single mothers, refugees, covid affected, and grieving families.
WHERE?
From your very own kitchen! Prepare meals like you would prepare for an esteemed guest.
